This is a most precious and exclusive type of Parad bead, the powerful Tantrik alchemical Shiva-Shakti Abhrak Siddha Durga gutika : This is made with 10 sanskaar purifications, and 11 times gandhak jaran and also small quantity of gold added in it to make it combined with mica extract. As mercury is seed of shiva and mica is fluid of shakti so this is Shiva-Shakti gutika and highly powerful. Its Aura level crosses 100 feets and high vibrations can be achieved when this gutika places under tongue and do the meditation. The eleventh-century alchemical text the Rasārnava (‘Flood of the Rasas’), Shiva says: ‘because it is the rasa [essential element] of my body, one is to call it rasa [mercury].’ This mercury, purified and potentiated through its interactions with sulfur and mica, the mahārasas (great rasas that are the mineral manifestations of the divine sexual or menstrual emission (rasas) of Śiva’s consort, the goddess Bhairavī or Pārvatī, effects the transformation of both metals and bodily fluids and tissues into their higher essences. As scholars note, this “This terminology is disclosive of one of the basic presuppositions of Hindu alchemy (and Hindu Tantra): in a universe that is the product of a sexual union, vital animal, mineral, and vegetable substances are emanates or devolutes of the sexual fluids of the supreme divine dyad. Because all participate in the same flow of the godhead, all are interchangeable, recombinatory, and perfectible. As such, the interpenetrating techniques of elixir therapy, transmutation, hatha yoga, and ‘tantric sex’ all fall within the purview of ‘Hindu alchemy’.” This is a very concise summary of the correspondences of inner and outer alchemy merging in the formation of mercury gutika that are used in yoga.

Other Rasa Siddha scriptures emphasize this combination: Alchemical operations are predominated by the use of two minerals, mica and sulphur, the creative elements of goddess Durga. Associated with mercury, a male principle owing to its origin from semen of God Siva, the two minerals, particularly mica, acted as co-generators in alchemical creation involving transubstantiation of body and transmutation of metal (dehalohakara).”

The range of sixteen minerals distributed in superior (rasas or mahdrasas*) and subsidiary classes (uparasas) according to their degrees of importance as alchemical substance comprise:-

(i)Rasas or Mahdrasas, eight in number generally include, abhraka (mica), vaikrdnta or vaikt:nta (a precious stone having eight surfaces and six angles, probably tourmaline), mdk ika (copper pyrites), vimala (iron pyrites), Sildjatu (bitumen), sasyaka (copper sulphate), capala (bismuth) and rasaka (calamine).

In this verse it has been told that copper has 32, iron 64, silver 80, gold 100, diamond and mica 1000 and mercury 100 million qualities. Samskaarit Parad (cleansed, purified, consecrated mercury) is beneficial for health in several ways. i.e. Parad becomes one with water on liquefying. On getting much heat it gets vaporized, spreads like smoke in the entire surroundings and then disappears. In metallic form it gets mixed with other metals. Apart from this mercury has one more hidden trait that is called the Deivi or the divine Gati. This is also known as Parad’s Jeev Gati or Ras Gati. As the ghosts leave the body after death mercury too leaves unobstructed. Even on closing all escape outlets the mercury manages to disappear in the form of vapor – this is its innate nature. If by some way the Gati of Parad is checked and then made suitable for consumption then this same mercury becomes a source of rejuvenation. The Samskaarit Parad can be seen in the form of metal, liquid, ray or vapor but its fifth form, the Jeev Gati cannot be seen, and hence it is also called the Dev Gati. This form can only be made lasting with the assistance of high level Mantras, meditation and Yogic methods. As a Samadhi attuned body can retain the ghost for eternity, the same can be said about Parad.
