Pre-Winter Solstice Sermon: From the Wolf’s Den by Vṛka Keśin

We deal in the way of power, the cinnabar path of the Tantric heroes and ecstatic sages. We produce and import from our Guru the most potent catalysts for achieving transformation. We have many inquiries of those seeking for the path, and they have suffered from New Age delusions, egotistical narratives of their self, and a coddled feedback loop of their own parasitic thoughts feasting upon their own sanity. But as in treating the normal parasites, the sick cannot judge their own condition, they are controlled by dark forces that trick them into being harvested for energy. These are dark masters and entities preying upon the weak points of belief over knowledge, and of weakness over power. Many want to visit or join us, they want to leave their home country and fly here or drive across the country; but they have to learn the principles of alchemy first, of fixing the volatile. They must truly cut their heads off and come without the intellectual trappings. They must throw their bodies piece by piece in the fire and assay their true potential. This is the ultimate quest for enlightenment, beyond the theophany of the Christianized yoga that came out of Colonial India. But back to the primal, ecstatic soma cults of alchemical deconstruction and rebirth, of decomposition and renewal. This is not to be dabbled in, or played with, or role played like some orientalist fantasy.

It was considered deadly dangerous in all traditions to embark on shamanic and true alchemical paths. We have taken the risk and decided that a slow death by a thousand cuts in the excuse-making and perpetual victimhood that is the alternative is infinitely worse. But this is a leap into the abyss that is swallowing existence in this Kali Yuga. The first thing the seeker is told of is the definition of trust, which is consistent behavior observed over time. The key word there is ‘consistent,’ meaning stabilized and focused and centered. This is the Seeker’s own foundational work. They are given mantra, maybe specific sadhana, but if they cannot even go a week without dramatic outbursts, meltdowns, and adolescent behavior from afar, they shall never penetrate to the inner sanctums of this lineage. They will quickly take on the trappings, choosing their names, a smattering of Sanskrit terms, and often copy our terminology and symbols with the zeal used as the mask of the dilettante. These masks can only be held for so long, as slowly the unfathomable depths of best intentions and vows wither and die.

The true Tantrik path is beyond sexual rites and rituals but piercing into the toxic venom that infects all born into this world. It is beyond the aghoris charnel grounds feasts, beyond the shattering rites that draw the energies to abolish karma and fate. Those that think they are ready for such a true death and rebirth must have that power and be able to tap into it and overcome the nearly insurmountable obstacles cast down by the anti-traditions and counter-traditions to blur the True Way in this age of Kali. One can see the determination of famous chefs in their craft, of martial artists in their training or musicians or any expert or master that has perfected his art or skill. We can see it in the fanaticism of sporting and entertainment devotees, who never miss their mainstream fix of distractions. We see so many “spiritual masters” preying on these well-intentioned, filling their heads with rubbish and trash and leading them so astray they might never find their way out of the confusion. Then the seeker picks and chooses from his negative encounters and decides what to believe and cast out, but the stinger is still embedded, the venom is now part of the blood, the eyes glaze over in enchanted infection. These poor souls will spend hours, days and decades dissipating energy and tethering themselves into deeper mentating and taking the same cyclical follies over and over again, while the sun rises and sets on the precious incarnations.

The mark of these people becomes this victim-savior programming. They confirm so many of the Masters’ advice on the need for security and screening of individuals for the path. If the seeker cannot handle wine, he cannot handle soma. If he cannot handle friendship, he will be forever a stranger to Love. If the seeker dwells in excuses, they will be exiled from true change and transformation. It is mutation or transmutation, it is fusion or confusion. This is the cinnabar path, the path of riding the tiger, of standing amongst the ruins of the Kali Yuga. We are but sentiles to the naked baba alone in jungles with clay retorts and marble mortar and pestles. We gather the herbs and skillful means, but one must be able to form the golden chain of energetic microcosmic days. We are born in the borning we become the living God by our creations achieved through our intentions and ecstatic energy. The rest is just placebo and nacebo of soma, of substitute sacraments, and a bunch of folly invented by those that have lost or never had the Key. Our lineage is drunken, never sober, ecstatic and mad. Do not take this name if you cannot hold your liquor. It is better for you to study simple hatha yoga and do good works and not dabble in the fire and wolf dens.

We are not here to confirm your narratives, validate your neuroses, and enter into co-dependent or parasitic relationships. We practice reciprocity, mutual beneficial relationship of unfettered sharing of resources and teachings to those that earn that trust. The concentric circles to not bother the True Masters is set up to weed out the pretenders, the dabblers, the unstabilized, the thrill seekers, the victims and excuse makers and those that are so bitten by spiritual vampires that they have become their virtual vessel. This may seem harsh but they can be identified. Make them a huge gesture of energetic power and shared knowledge or opportunity and see how they respond. Do they dissipate and destroy this invocation to ecstasy or spiritual technology? Then they demonstrate the cursed infection. Do they respond to love and bhoga with the counteractive force? Do they return openness and favors with negativity, with sobering and deflating words, without outbursts that betray their true volatility they hide from the world?

One must look deep within to truly reckon beyond all the non-sense of the New Age narratives, the obsession with past lives and exotic techniques. The point of the arrow pierces beyond these dualities of past and present, higher and lower self and the extremes of the nihilism or contrived nonsense of modern spirituality. Those that can create the chain of days in this energy, while most cannot even go a week, must persist to the true alchemical period of 100 days minimum in absolute precision in thought, word and action. What is witnessed is a person saying one thing, thinking another, and doing yet a third in complete incoherent instability. The true way to open and cleanse chakras is absolute integrity and focus, the true Mahamudhra, the true One Taste, that silences the demon whisper in your head you take as Self, that has lead you down the garden path into the abyss of ruin. Exiled. Lost. Broken. It is at that point that the true breakthroughs come, and it is precisely when 99% percent quit. This is an elite path, in training body, mind and spirit. The full-spectrum adept capable of disappearing into the woods and living on pure energy but strong and vibrant for family, tribe and clan. Those that cannot fathom this will always be playing games with words and e-motions instead of manifesting the fixed divine state of the God Body realization. This is the Aryan (pure heart) path that honors vows and doesn’t utter false promises or intentions or run at the first spiritual detoxifications of the process.

This is the same issue in nearly all the cases of chronic illness of all clients over 20 years of clinical herbalism. It is the issue of root causes. People play wack-a-mole with symptoms, often playing doctor and herbalist as well with others, and perpetuating these insane notions like toxic memes. The true deep kayakalp processes are like the modern term of the Herxheimer reaction. This is the toxic feeling of sickness when parasites die off and their waste floods the system. Most people cannot push through this phase and also lack the understanding of how to do it once and for all. It is like the addict that cannot face withdrawal symptoms. They are not yet sick of being sick enough. Even terminal patients will not try the proven protocols because they fear the discomfort and eventually succumb. Those that take the pain, befriend it, understand it and use it as a power, will come through the storm reborn. Those that keep this knot of character armor will experience incessant discord and discomfort until they yield to the process and untie those energetic knots. But they will not follow protocols for even a week, they will forget dosages or take extremely too much, in a constant exhibition of instability and weakness. To them this understanding is like a locked gate with no walls around it, but they stay stuck, stagnate and preyed upon on the path. When Pain is befriended, it transmutes to liberating bliss.

All that we have attained is from the Supreme Guru of Death, who pushed us to find the Gurus of Life. Unspeakable pain, agonies, torments, hells and diseases have initiated us into the ordeals of the most wise teacher that is Pain. The Pain teaches us what to be and what not to be, what questions to ask and what not to say. It teaches us to define what we intend to create and manifest, and what we intend to burn away and destroy. Pain is True Friend, the motivation, the point where spirit and matter collide, where fantasy and projections yield to Ultimate Reality. Pain can destroy the illusions inside the delusions, break the enchantments, lead one to true commitment and resilience. We live in an age of material comfort, the perfect playground for psychopaths and neurotics, used and being used by each other in a world of cold horrors. Without the emotional, physical and spiritual pains we would have been “happy” or content with an ordinary materialistic existence, and not forced to confront the Eternal Question of our very existence and to find the soma to cure the open wound that is life, the cut that never heals. It is the pain that stabilizes the intention and accomplishes (siddha) protocols and alchemical processes and generates trust and relationships in the vast network of true devotees to penetrate to the true alchemists and Guides. This is not wisdom found in books or websites, but an agenda to recruit those able to balance striving and patience, ecstatic frenzy with the warrior’s discipline and is the scholar warrior farmer shaman, the True Master ready and brimming with potent kinetic energy to heal or fight.

This incarnation is too precious to waste, and there can never be momentum when the person’s own narratives and clinging attachments to any fundamental reality is the root obstacles. For those that cannot, remember the old sages said, “safety is on the shore.” We are on the vine of this life and incarnation from our mother’s navel, to the umbilical cord of the Great Goddess, who is represented in the earthly consort to be worshiped. This is the careful work of the adept in the alchemical phases. We must feed and nourish this energy once we begin our process, to abandon is worse by far than to never have begun. Seekers either ripen or rot on the vine. This is the fruit that yields the magical drugs of bliss, the alchemical ferments of something from nothing, and pain yielding to bliss. The sickness throws up the infinite distractions and breaks in the circuit as the masks crack and the dwarf inside gets loose and runs about with mischief and destruction. Mighty Lord Murugan the warrior does not run from battles against the demonic forces. As the Solstice nears, the sacred rites of the ancient long-haired sages brings down the light as the veil between the realms thins. This is a time of spiritual battle for warriors, for those willing to leap into the ocean and face the winds and storms.
